There are hundreds of new papers and methods each week in the field of AI. Cutting through to the practical, useful bits can be time consuming. I have found Sebastian Raschka's newsletter on AI to be useful in keeping track of important new ideas and explaining important concepts.
Excellent resource on practical software engineering tips, strategies for navigating the human aspect of software engineering, and deep dives into important industry topics (e.g., compensation, startups, etc). Clear writing too.
Elvis's roundup of NLP top papers and AI agents are great for staying updated. Elvis also writes great tutorials and learning resources.
Nathan Lambert does an excellent job of writing on techniques for training and improving LLMs (especially in the small LLM regime - 7B, 13B param models)
